POLYESTER AUTO ROLLS

Viskon-Aire roll filters are 65 feet in length and are made from scrim backed polyester filter media with a 1/2" nominal thickness. The untreated roll filter is ideal for normal concentrations of atmospheric dust. It is recommend especially where machines are used as pre-filters for higher efficiency filters. For heavy dust concentrations, we recommend use of the Viskon-Aire tackified roll filter.

Untreated
- Resilient fiber does not mat down under air pressure or heavy dust loading, so that dust holding capacity is high
- Because of the fineness and crinkly nature of the fibers, an extremely large amount of dust traps are exposed to the air stream
- No slivers of fibers to break off in the air stream or to irritate hands and eyes
- May be used in wide range of temperatures from minus 40º to 220ºF

Tackified
- Tackiness is permanent and will not dry out
- Tackifier is progressively applied from the down stream side of the filter to aid depth loading
- The tackifier stops and holds the finer atmospheric contaminants, thus achieving excellent efficiency
- The tackifier prevents dirt from unloading down stream (reduces cleaning of coils, duct, and walls)

FIBERGLASS AUTO ROLLS
Viskon-Aire roll media is available in three different types to satisfy all filtering requirements. All media rolls are equipped with a leader and trailer to ensure maximum use of the media and to assist in threading the machine. All Viskon-Aire* filter media has a tough laminate backing to resist tearing and necking of the media. All fiberglass roll media is progressive density for high dust holding capacity.
